They could make it worse I suppose, but it may be worth finding out. Not having skin can be incredibly uncomfortable.

The fine motor control of his cybernetic hand is excellent, but even after ten years and multiple different parts there's still a part of him that thinks he'll tear or crush anything he touches with it, or that it might not do exactly what he wants.
